The best mascaras you've never tried

I often get asked if there's a makeup product that I can't live without. The answer to that question is yes, there is. I couldn't live without mascara! As a beauty blogger, I get to try all types of mascaras, some of which are relatively unheard of. With great power comes great responsibility so I'm going to tell you the top three mascaras that you're probably missing out on!

1. ModelCo Double Ended Fibre Lash Mascara

Every. Damn. Day. I love this mascara to the moon and back. This product is more or less brush on false lashes. I have difficulty wearing false lashes and I certainly could never wear eyelash extensions. So I'm always hunting for ways to work with what I have and still achieve the same glam look that you get while wearing falsies. This mascara is exactly that, it combines a formula and brush-on fibres to create a flawless application. There is no product to date that I've used that gives me this lash length. This Australian bestseller is my go to.

2. NARS Audacious Mascara

I'm checking out at Sephora five minutes before the store is set to close, when the manager starts heading in my direction. She hands me a NARS sample-sized mascara and says, "Here, congrats on being our third-last customer of the night". I was so thrilled to have a new mascara to try, especially because they rarely hand out mascara (usually they give out skincare products). I love this one! It has a brush with over 200 bristles to delicately separate each lash and extend from root to tip. It's also incredibly lightweight which is perfect for that barely there feeling.

3. Lancome Hypnose Lash-by-Lash Volume

I remember the first Lancome product that I tried, (a powder compact) it was very heavily perfumed which I didn't care for. That wasn't enough to dissuade me from trying other Lancome products though. When this mascara came out I was super excited to try it. I was pleasantly surprised that this mascara had no scent. It has a whopping 300+ bristles. It's a great general mascara and it's perfect for layering multiple coats.
